Xiaomi Air Conditioning’s New Progress： Awarded ＂International Leading＂ Technology Appraisal

　The China Light Industry Federation organized a scientific and technological achievement appraisal meeting in Wuhan, Hubei Province, which was jointly completed by Xiaomi Technology (Wuhan) Co., Ltd. and many other units, including "Research and Application of Key Technologies of Internet Air Conditioning Inverter Based on Full-Link OTA Technology" and "Research and Application of Key Technologies of Household Air Conditioning Energy Conservation and Health Based on Internet Thinking".

Shan Lianyu, general manager of Xiaomi Air Conditioning, delivered a speech and introduced the current situation of technical development. Technical representatives Wu Junhong, Peng Guangqian, and Li Chao made a detailed project report to the experts of the appraisal committee and organized a live demonstration of the prototype. After inquiry and discussion, the experts of the appraisal committee agreed that the technical achievements of the two projects were innovative and reached the international leading level, leading the intelligent development of air conditioning technology.

Based on the research and application of key technologies of Internet air conditioner frequency conversion based on full-link OTA technology, Xiaomi has proposed three innovative technologies: "Intelligent networked air conditioner full-link high-efficiency OTA upgrade technology", "Internet air conditioner intelligent parameter matching and intelligent after-sales services technology", and "Extreme speed temperature control and wide temperature domain frequency conversion control technology".

The first application of full-link, high-efficiency OTA upgrade technology in intelligent networked air-conditioning products has achieved a stable, efficient and reliable upgrade of air-conditioning internal and external units, endowing air-conditioning equipment with the ability to continuously evolve.

At the same time, the intelligent parameter matching and intelligent after-sales services technology of air conditioners were developed, which realized the interoperability of R & D, production, after-sales and user data, which can greatly reduce the cost of information communication, improve management efficiency and service experience. Invented multi-scene adaptive high-speed temperature control and wide temperature domain frequency conversion control technology, and comprehensively applied load forecasting, transient start, double speed high frequency and full temperature domain pulse adaptive suppression technology to achieve rapid cold/heat input and reliable operation under extreme ambient temperature.

The full-link OTA technology can be understood as the core of the continuous evolution of intelligent air conditioners. Xiaomi adopts a single-channel multi-target, multi-partition, configurable combination upgrade strategy, and a high-speed communication circuit design to achieve full-link OTA for air-conditioning displays, internal electronic control boards, and external electronic control boards, which undoubtedly lays the foundation for the future development of intelligent air conditioners.

Research and application of key technologies for energy saving and health of household air conditioners based on Internet thinking, Xiaomi proposes three innovative technologies: "Air conditioner energy saving control technology based on IoT technology for customized and comfortable operation", "Clean air outlet technology based on modular dust removal and dual heat source pulsation sterilization" and "User environment custom control technology based on intelligent interaction".

The first energy-saving control strategy for customized and comfortable air conditioners based on IoT technology has achieved targeted temperature control in personnel activity areas and anti-excessive dehumidification during cooling and cooling, which has greatly improved the comfort of air conditioners, and at the same time achieved energy-saving and low-carbon operation, effectively reducing the energy consumption of household air conditioners and reducing consumers’ daily expenses.

Based on the clean air outlet technology of modular dust removal and dual heat source pulsation sterilization, the dust removal module can be used in multiple air conditioners and high temperature sterilization of the whole air duct of the internal machine, which greatly improves the air outlet quality of the air conditioner.

The user-defined air-conditioning control technology based on smartphone interaction can customize the use area of different rooms or intelligently detect the area of the house on the APP side, automatically correct and control the frequency range and FM speed in the early stage of air-conditioning operation, and adaptively adjust the output range of the ability. And one-click to turn on the overload scene ability to output the MAX mode very quickly to maximize the circulating air volume and cold and heat output.
